What we do

We build better performing golfers by addressing the specific areas our clients are limited in and turning those weak areas into strengths, as well as building stability, strength and speed in our golfers.

How we do it

We do this through our in-depth screening process designed by the Titleist Performance Institute. This will give us information on your potential limitations and how they may be affecting your swing. From here we provide you with your very own custom program to address these areas and targetted towards your goals.

Who we do it for

We have clients of all abilities and ages ranging from 14 to 80 years old. The abilities of our clients range from casual golfers playing once a week, all the way to coaching pros and high level players.

About Us

Hi, I'm Matt and I've been a personal trainer since 2013. My love of golf has led me to focus primarily on golf fitness, helping golfers improve their game by identifying their roadblocks and implementing plans to improve their performance on the course.

As a keen golfer myself, I know the importance of fitness for peak performance on the course. With customised programs and support, I help golfers of all levels achieve their golfing goals. Let's work together to take your game to the next level.

The 4 Pillars Of Golf Performance​

Stability

Stability in the golf swing is the ability to maintain posture while producing force. This can also be referred to as balance in most cases.

Mobility​

In order to perform the golf swing in the correct manner, you first need the range of movement to allow this.

Strength

Strength can be defined as the ability to exert force in order to overcome resistance. In this case the resistance being the golf club.

Velocity

Velocity is defined as the rate of speed in a specific direction. How far we hit the golf ball is directly linked with the speed of the club head at impact.​

I have been golfing now for just on 3 years and during this time I have experienced consistent back pain.
I decided to discuss this with Matt and to see if we could put a plan in place that would enable me to play pain free. Being a competitive person, I was also hoping that a by product of this was a potential improvement in my game.

When I started with Matt 5 months ago, I was very lost in my fitness and golf journey. From being a player who used to train every day and perform to a high level, Matt has supported and given me the tools to find that person again. I have been recovering from one on going injury in my back and one recent injury in my knee, I didn’t know when I was going to be able to play 18 holes again and pain free. I can now happily say I am able to play 18 holes pain free thanks to Matts training and programming. He has supported me in all aspects of the gym; mentally and physically. I did my first TPI screen when I started, and I was a 22 handicap. 5 months later I did my second TPI screen and I am now a +3 handicap. It has been an amazing journey and has played a huge part in my mental health. Matt is an amazing trainer who is very intuitive with each clients needs. I can’t wait to get back to competitive golf knowing my body is getting stronger and knowing we are working on my weaknesses that relate to how I swing a golf club.
